Unity in the community

Start off your summer by looking forward to Unity in the Community!

For only $7, enjoy a variety of activities from 12 – 8pm at the Medina County Fairgrounds on Friday, June 12.

Seven different districts are coming together to make this all happen. The United Way has recently partnered with Girls Leadership Club (GLC) of Medina High School to further involve more of the community.

Come out and have a day filled with dodgeball tournaments, cornhole games, volleyball games, relay races, art projects, photo booths, fair food, exhibitor booths and a dunk tank featuring Mr. Farson.

Besides those activities that will be occurring all throughout the day, there will be a Battle of the Bands from 4-8pm, a motivational speaker – “13 Messages from Milo” – from 2:30-3:30pm, and a Color Run (click for registration) starting at 8pm.

For further information visit www.unitedwaymedina.org/unityinthecommunity. Also, if you’re a student of MHS and wish to compete in the Battle of the Bands, contact Ms. Bolek as soon as possible at room 1205 – registration ends May 29.
