The Cavaliers will move on to play the Atlanta Hawks in a best of 7 series on May 20th. The Cavs have been continuing to play at a high level since losing Kevin Love and seem to still be the favorites to win the East.

The Cavs beat the Bulls 94-73 last Saturday to win the east semifinals 4-2. The Atlanta Hawks will be a big test for the Cavaliers defense that at has been primarily consistent. During a press conference, superstar point guard Kyrie Irving stated  that “It’ll be a great test and great series for us.”

During the regular season the Cavs split the Hawks series 2-2. Every player will need to be healthy and ready to contribute. Kyrie Irving was cleared to play in the game. The winner of this series will move on to challenge the victor of the Western conference finals, which is taking place now between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets. The winner out of each conference will play each other in the NBA Finals beginning June 4th.
