Catch the musical if you can

The Medina High School Drama Club is presenting the musical “Catch Me If You Can” on November 11th and 12th at 7:30pm, and November 13th at 2pm. Tickets are $8 for students/ seniors and $10 for adults.

The musical is based off the 2002 movie, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks.  It tells the story of Frank Abagnale, Jr. and his work as a con artist.

MHS Junior Cameron Olin is one of the lead roles. She will be playing Brenda Strong, Frank’s love interest.

Olin said, “I really enjoy being a part of this production as Brenda Strong, her character is very unique as it brings out the good in Frank. Through the show, she grows with Frank by sharing her backstory which shapes who Brenda is.”

Senior Tommy Evans is no stranger to the MHS Drama Club. This year, he is playing FBI Agent Carl Hanratty in the musical.

“He is a very diverse character with lots of different emotions and a neat backstory. He has a lot of different traits and it’s just fun getting to play him,¨ said Evans.
