Square lit up for the holidays

The City of Medina Christmas tree was lit at 7pm.

The city of Medina kicked off their 32nd annual Candlelight Walk on Friday, November 18th.

During the walk, the Medina community was invited to see the lights lined throughout the square, the lighting of the city Christmas tree and take photos with Santa.

Abigail Battles is a MHS alumni who attended the walk, “I come because it is fun and to see the beautiful lights and decor,” Battles said.

Morgan Groah is a community member of Medina and enjoys coming to these kinds of events.

“I like the community, I think it’s great that the city hold events for the community,” Groah said. “My favorite events are ‘Trick-or-Treat on the Square’ and the ‘Ice Cream Social’.”

The city of Medina knows how to kick off the holiday season right, the lights can still be seen throughout the holidays.
