A night to remember

Medina’s “Gatsby Gala” Prom took place on May 6th.

On Saturday, May 6th, Medina High School juniors and seniors gathered in the hall of Akron’s Quaker Station to celebrate “The Gatsby Gala” Prom.  The night was filled with good food, music, and dancing, all organized by the junior student council.

The junior student council has been planning the event for months, and the final product was a success.  Students had fun socializing with classmates and taking photos in the photobooth.

As souvenirs, students were given metal water bottles and long sleeve t-shirts embellished with “The Gatsby Gala” design.  After prom, students were invited back to the high school to celebrate After Prom, themed “Make Bee-lieve Land”.

The After Prom, led by advisor Joy Rambo, supplied a substance-free environment to enjoy after Prom until 3 am.  Food, inflatables, air brush tattoos, and raffles were supplied for all juniors and seniors in attendance.
