Ariana Grande performs with a “Bang Bang”

On March 5, Cleveland had a special treat with a special guest coming to The Quicken Loans Arena to perform a concert on the fifth show of her Worldwide tour.

Ariana Grande came to give fans what they asked for, songs from her new and old albums The Honeymoon Tour show.  Grande also met many fans with photo opportunities in a photo booth with the singer.

Before the show, fans were required to arrive at the venue by 3 pm, where they would participate in a question and answer with Grande and her backup dancers.  Fans were invited to get onstage and help rap lyrics to popular songs like The Way and Problem.

Fans were then escorted into a hall where they waited their turn to take three pictures with the singer.  Grande’s mother, Joan Grande, and photographer, Jones Crow, were talking to and videotaping fans as they waited impatiently.

At the end of the line, groups of two were escorted into a black curtained area where Grande was standing in front of the camera.  Groups then took photos with her and were then escorted down to the hall to a room with a seating area and refreshments.

The show began at 7:30 with electronic artist Cashmere Cat as the opening act.  Ariana Grande began her performance at 8:55, opening with the radio hit Bang Bang.

Grande performed songs from her albums My Everything and Yours Truly with a few extra songs in between.  Pink Champagne was apart of the lineup although the song has yet to be released from 2011.

With everything from ballads to radio hits, Grande put on a great show for her fans.  She closed the show with Problem showering her fans in black and white confetti.

Grande’s next show is in Pittsburgh on March 10.  The tour is supposed to carry on until early 2016.
