As homecoming is one of the largest social events of the year, it’s no wonder why so many people go and make common mistakes; such as not wearing uncomfortable shoes or not bringing money to get water. In hopes to prevent this, here are some helpful tips I’ve found thanks to Homecoming attendees!
Wear comfortable shoes. The dance is long and can be weary on your feet, especially if you wear stiff and uncomfortable shoes.
Bring money for water. It gets hot in there!
Be ready for the loud music. In homecoming it can be overwhelming and almost frightening, so be ready for it.
Don’t worry about getting a date. If you don’t have a date to hoco, have no fear! It really doesn’t matter in the end if you have a date or not, if you don’t have a date, go with friends! Plenty of students choose this option, and avoid the hassle altogether!
GO WITH FRIENDS! High school dances are so much better with friends to laugh and dance with, not to mention that you’ll share the memories within your group all year.
Have fun! The most important thing to do in homecoming is to have fun! It’s a dance, so party and have a good time. Just remember to follow the rules and listen to your principals.
