WEDNESDAY, APRIL 3, 2019

ATTENTION SENIORS
If you plan to attend Prom 2019: Mystic Waters, you must have all school
fees paid by Wednesday, April 10th or you will not be eligible to purchase
tickets. Any outstanding fees must be paid in order to participate in what is
sure to be the highlight of your senior year!

SENIORS
Please vote for your fellow classmates on the final superlatives posted on
the senior page of Blackboard under the yearbook tab. Make sure to send
in your votes by April 18th.

ATTENTION ALL LATIN CLUB MEMBERS
Letters of Intent are due Friday to Mrs. Sawan or Mr. Kolo. Candidates
speeches will be delivered on Tuesday April 9th. Also, don’t forget the
pizza and movie party on Friday in room 2215.

RECYCLING CLUB
There is a Recycling Club meeting this Thursday, April 4th after school in
the Mecca. Bring a friend and save the world.

ATTENTION STUDENTS
Need help or support as you quit using nicotine? Consider coming to “The
Control Group”, a support group for students (by students) who have the
desire to stop using nicotine. This is student to student support group
which will be managed by Mr. Blue or Mrs. Jackson. Location is the Black
Box and the time is 12th period every Tuesday until the end of the school
year. If you have any questions, see Mr. Blue.

GIRLS LEADERSHIP CLUB
This is just a reminder that we have a meeting Thursday at 7 am or 2:30 in
room 1205. Please bring your Children’s Center donations to the meeting.
If you are unable to attend, please see Mrs. Hascher in 1205.

STUDENT COUNCIL
The Student Council applications are due tomorrow by noon. Turn them in
ASAP because no late applications will be accepted!

PRO DRIVING SCHOOL
Classes with Pro Driving will begin on Monday, April 8th. Information can
be found at the HUB.

LUCKY LOCKER
It’s Lucky Locker Wednesday, Medina! What is your locker number? Is it
#21244? If it is, come to room 2111 for your $10 Chipotle gift card. Locker
#21244. Check the Student Council showcase in the Main Cafeteria to see
the winning lucky locker!

JUNIORS
Remember to be prepared to pick your four FREE score reports for your
upcoming In-School SAT Test on Tuesday, April 9th. The four free score
reports can be sent to the colleges, universities, NCAA and/or scholarship
programs of your choice. Refer to your Student Guide booklet for details.
You will bubble in your requests on the day of the test. Further, do not
forget to use your full access to Khan Academy to practice and prepare for
the upcoming SAT!

GAMING CLUB
The next and last Gaming Club meeting is after school on Friday, April 5th
from 2:30 to 4:30 in room 2129. Come and celebrate a very successful
year of the Gaming Club.

ATTENTION STUDENTS
The Medina High School Genders and Sexualities Alliance will observe the
National Day of Silence on Friday, April 12th. It is a day of action in which
students across the country vow to take a form of silence to call attention to
the silencing effect of anti-LGBT bullying and harassment in schools. If you
would like to participate and support the GSA, you can sign up during your
lunch periods until Wednesday, April 10th. The cost is $1 to purchase a
bracelet. Please see Mrs. Oehler in room 2200 if you have any questions.
