Hello! My name is Hannah Petrosky and this is my first year in
The Medinamite. I am currently a sophomore at Medina High School. I have always enjoyed writing since a young age. Whether it was writing about my day or a fantasy story in a land far away, I always had a pencil and notebook in hand. Last year I took an Intro to Journalism class and fell in love with newswriting, so I joined
The Medinamite to continue this passion. I am also involved in Key Club as a treasurer, Girls Tennis, Girls Leadership Club, Chem Club, Spanish Club, and Recycling Club. Aside from writing, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and volunteering with Kids First in the community. Helping others is very important to me, whether it be through informing or doing a favor. This is why I am interested in newswriting, I want to enlighten the world about current day issues. I hope the 2018-2019 edition of
The Medinamite will be the best it has ever been!
